Evan Saltzman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Emory University. His research interests include health economics and empirical industrial organization. He is currently studying the impact of asymmetric information in health insurance markets. His work has been cited by the U.S. Supreme Court and numerous media outlets, including the Washington Post and the New York Times. Evan previously worked at the RAND Corporation. Evan received his B.S. in mathematics and economics from the College of William & Mary in 2008, M.S. in operations research at Georgia Tech in 2009, M.S. in managerial science and applied economics at the University of Pennsylvania in 2016, and Ph.D. in managerial science and applied economics at the University of Pennsylvania in 2018.
